Two postdoctoral fellows

Yuan Peng, a young researcher and doctoral supervisor of the Institute of Brain Science Translation of Fudan University, was selected into the National Young Talents Program. In recent years, he has published a series of important papers in journals such as Nature Methods and Neuron, with more than 2000 citations.

Group introduction

Mainly through mouse behavior, in vivo microscopic imaging, two-photon-mediated site-specific neural activity and gene expression control, and high-precision and high-throughput histological microscopic imaging, he is committed to studying the effect of neural groups on short-term and long-term memory. The mode of expression and operation of information units in senile dementia (Alzheimer's disease), and how abnormalities in these processes contribute to cognitive dysfunction in Alzheimer's disease.

Application conditions

1. Has obtained or is about to obtain a doctorate degree in biology or medicine at home and abroad;

2. Possess a positive work enthusiasm, excellent learning ability, good academic ethics and teamwork spirit, and can carry out scientific research work independently;

3. Strong interest in neural coding research and abnormalities of neural coding in brain diseases; working experience in mouse brain surgery, in vivo optical imaging or memory-related behavioral paradigms is preferred.
